Palm Sugar – Is a healthy sweetener that has been used for many generations in southern parts of India. It is an excellent substitute for white sugar. Rich in essential minerals. According to some studies, it has 60 times more minerals than white sugar. It is also the storehouse of many vitamins. It has LOW GI, Hence it is a diabetic-friendly sweetener.
It has a number of minerals, vitamins, calcium, iron & phytonutrients including zinc and potassium.
The sugar content in palm sugar is well balanced. It is a good source of vitamin B1, B2, B6, and B12.

Palm Sugar is made up of the juice (sap) collected from the palm tree and it may be called Neera /Padha Neer/ Padhani/ Toddy as a local name in the south India region. We collect the juice from all palm trees and filtering it clearly to make a dust-free Palm Jaggery. Once filtering is done, we boil the juice for around 3-4 hours to get solid syrup consistency. Once the perfect stage has reached with heating, then we start cooling the syrup by stirring constantly and rubbing manually with a wooden stick for a long time and saving it to get powdered Palm Sugar. Its dried and free flow, It is very easy to use.
